Solidworks is a 3D Solid Modeling Package, improve the aesthetics and ergonomics of your product designs by generating advanced shapes, complex surfaces and patterns.
One model can contain thousands of parts, why spend thousands of pounds on a scale model of your plant which will be out of date 12 months along the line when we can produce a model using solidworks which can be rotated and sectioned as required and updated easily.
Tekla Structures is a 3D Structural Steelwork package which can assist your orangisation in Sales and Bidding, cost estimates, alternative solutions and structural visualisation (For example click here).
We can produce accurate production drawings in a variety of different layouts, also bolt lists, weights and Bill of materials.
Within the package is also erection planning and follow up, phasing and lotting and project management.

Rapid Prototyping helps take designs one step closer to reality without the expense of tooling. With a prototype alterations and modifications can be carried out before full production commences and before component or assemblies have been verified for fit or function. A physical prototype has not only obvious benefits as a vehicle for visualisation but also gives you the edge over your competitors.
Used for many purposes across many industries it can be an artefact taken from scanned data or reversed engineering, incorporate mechanical parts, include architectural studies or simply be the latest gadget to hit the market.
Draughtec can produce prototypes in ABS plastic. Our initial build envelope is 254mm * 254mm * 302 mm for one part, although we are not limited by this, as larger parts can be produced by hot welding and gluing sections together. For further technical data, please contact us on 01670 542848.
